Nobody likes to serve. But sometimes it's the only thing to fall back on. Most of the people who don't tip, are WT (White Trash) or Mondays (because like with bad tippers, everybody hates them). Yes, most tipping is for good and/or great service. But did you realize that servers only get paid (in Missouri) half of minimum wage? It's 3.50 to put up with peoples shit. Most people come in with no intention to tip, but make the server run their ass off for no tips. And because of that, the server actually has to pay to serve the table that didn't tip. Make sense? I think not. Bottom line, if you don't want to tip, eat McDonalds. Even for bad service, I still give 10 percent. Obviously you haven’t served. Nobody likes to serve. Tipping is for good service. If you get good service, then you get a good tip. Get bad service, then expect bad or no tip. Why MUST you automatically give a tip to someone that may, note i said may there, give you bad service? If however you do give good service and don' receive a tip, then complain.
