Feminine Antics Don’t Kill Machismo
There’s a lot of hoopla surrounding all of the unmanly behavior exhibited by athletes in the past few weeks.
First it started with Bernard Pollard of the Kansas City Chiefs and his booty poppin’ dance moves…
Weeks later, it was University of Florida safety Tony Joiner kissing quarterback Tim Tebow on live television…
Now it’s Oscar De La Hoya’s fishnet pictures…
Some would believe that all of this activity suggests that machismo is dying and these guys will bring forth a new era of openness and respect for women and gays.
But I know better.
Although Isiah Thomas and Magic Johnson got these clowns beat twenty years ago during the NBA Finals, Isiah is the worst kind of chauvinist bully to work for…if you believe the sexual harassment lawsuit against him!
And to go further back than that, we have Joe Namath wearing pantyhose:
Years later he tried to molest Suzy Kolber live on ESPN!
Let us learn from Broadway Joe and Isiah Thomas. If one truly is macho, tapping one’s feminine side has absolutely no impact on the caveman impulse to tap that booty!
